These Uenuku resin sculptures are carefully crafted by textile artist Messini Palace.
Uenuku (smaller Tekoteko) is a special tupuna (ancestor) and Atua (God) of rainbows and guardianship especially in times of conflict.
Every piece is individually handmade, cast and hand coloured and finished making each subtly unique.
The Uenuku is made of resin and can be placed in a well-lit area, but avoiding direct sunlight as it may cause fading over time (as with any resin artwork).
