Shipping policy

Once your order is accepted, you will receive an email confirmation and we will endeavour to get your order shipped as soon as possible. Our free local delivery offer is valid for postcodes within a 15km radius of our gallery with a minimum order value of $150.00 NZD. Free standard delivery is available within New Zealand for orders over $150.00 NZD (subject to some exclusions). For any orders under $150.00 NZD, shipping is charged at a flat rate of $9.90 NZD. Artworks over $2,000.00 NZD and/or of a delicate/fragile nature are excluding from our general shipping policies. To ensure safe transit of these works, shipping is done through our partners Pack and Send who are very accustomed with professionally packing and shipping artwork all over the world with adequate insurance. This is capped at only $95.00 NZD within New Zealand. For any International shipping enquiries please contact us on hello@theartshole.co.nz and we will talk you through all the options.

If we are responsible for delivering the artwork or goods, we will, if possible, deliver them to the delivery address you provide when making your order. We currently deliver to areas as set out on the Site. Please refer to the delivery information on the Site to ensure you are in our delivery area. If you are not in our delivery area, please contact us to discuss delivery options.

We normally dispatch products within 1 – 2 working days of receiving an order, unless otherwise noted on the Site. Any delivery periods displayed on the Site are estimates only, based on the information provided by the delivery company. Delivery costs are as set out on the Site.

We may deliver the artwork or goods using a range of delivery methods such as New Zealand Post. You may need to sign for some deliveries.  If neither you nor your authorised representative is at the delivery address to accept delivery, the delivery company will generally deliver the artwork to your nearest post office.

Title to the artwork or goods will remain with us until you have paid the Price in full in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Until title passes, you must not do anything which seeks to create an encumbrance, lien, charge or other interest in or over the artwork.

Risk in the artworks or goods will pass to you as soon as they are delivered to the delivery address you provided in your order.

Where we determine the artwork or goods are large, of a high value or fragile, we may notify you of this and require you to arrange your own pick up or delivery.

Where the artist holds the artwork or goods, they will be responsible for arranging the shipping and delivery (including any delivery costs) of the artwork or goods directly with you.  You will be advised if this is applicable at the time you place an order.
