In 2006, Banksy released 6 original prints to mark the opening of the now iconic, Barely Legal exhibition held in Los Angeles warehouse. It was Banksy's third major exhibition held on the weekend of September 16th and was billed as a "three-day vandalised warehouse extravaganza,” 

Only 100 from the 500 unsigned editions were ever printed by Modern Multiples of Los Angeles and sold during the Barely Legal Exhibit. Rumour has it Banksy approached Los Angeles print makers Modern Multiples after a recommendation by Shepard Fairey. After confirming the details, the team did not hear from Banksy again until only 10 days prior when he flew in with his works. The team worked around the clock for the next week, producing 100 of each print in time for the opening. The remaining 400 of the LA Edition were never produced and the team at Modern Multiples were instructed to destroy the plates at the conclusion of the exhibition so they could never be reproduced without Banksy's direct involvement, increasing the rarity of the Barely Legal print set. The LA Edition differs slightly to the later UK release, as it was printed on a cream coloured paper, and one of the hunters possesses a different weapon.
