Banksy - Welcome Mat
Welcome Mat from the artists incredible 2019 exhibition - Gross Domestic Product. Expertly framed to the museum standard.
Hand stitched using the fabric from life vests abandoned on the beaches of the Mediterranean. To fabricate the mats, Banksy teamed up with the organisation 'Love Welcomes' who work with women in detainment camps in Greece. All proceeds were retained locally to help refugees access key services.

Originally commissioned by Greenpeace, Save or Delete highlights the problems of global deforestation. The image features the main characters from Disney’s ‘The Jungle Book’. They have been transposed onto a picture of a devastated forest, intended for use on posters, billboards and postcards. Save or Delete was printed but it was never put into circulation because of legal threats by Disney. The original sold for £78,000, at Bonhams. Whilst the majority of the prints were sent to be recycled.
